                                            - 6Rs of sustainability , Article 4 - 

         In the third article, we have talked about how to address environmental issues. One of it is to use the concept of 6Rs of sustainability. But,what exactly is sustainability and how do we achieve it ? In this article,we are also talking about 6Rs of sustainability.  

   What is sustainability ? Sustainability is a practice meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.It's about balancing economic,social and environmental factors to mitigate climate change and it's negative impact on our world. Sustainability is about making choices that benefit us now and future generations.

    What is 6Rs sustainability ? 6Rs stands for Reduce,Reuse,Recycle,Rethink,Refuse and Repair

 The first R, "Reduce," is about reducing the number of products we use. This concept revolves around consuming less to waste less.

Reuse means finding a new way to use items instead of throwing them away. It's extending the lifespan of the product reusing the item for alternative uses. 

 Recycle means converting used materials into new products. Recycle and Reuse isn't the same. Reuse means finding new ways to use the items for alternative use without converting it to new products meanwhile Recycle is converting used items into new products then using it for various uses. 

  Rethink means consider your consumption habits and how they impact the environment. Ask yourself if you really need something. Don't buy something you don't need.

  Repair : Repair broken items instead of throwing it away or replacing it .(better when combined with recycle's method) 

  Refuse : Don't buy something you don't need or if you can , don't buy something that can't be reused or recycled

The Earth will be a better place for future generations if we make a difference
